“ Find some stillness in your life”
Learn NEW options for handling stress and its consequences
• Do you have a stressful job?
• Do you have too many things to do, too many things on your mind?
• Are you in the recovering stage of a major illness?
• Are you wondering what else you can do to help in your recovery?
• Are you sitting in one place but your mind is many miles, time zones or life times away?
Learning Mindfulness takes less time than you think!
"Mindfulness" is the practice of being awake, aware or conscious on a moment-to-moment basis.
This "paying attention" to thoughts, attitudes and beliefs and awareness of your breath and body, using Mindfulness, has a profound healing effect – reduces stress, quiets the mind, opens our hearts and renews our health – as well as how to respond more effectively in stressful situations.
During this program you will learn mindfulness meditation, as well as some gentle body movements.
These practices improve our ability to live with symptoms due to stress, pain, or illness.
There are CD's for home practice and written assignments that will support your experience.
